Think Pink Parade
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and South Texas Health System is encouraging everyone to think pink.
According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer sometime in their life. To help raise awareness in the Rio Grande Valley about this all-too-common disease, South Texas Health System will be hosting a series of events designed to educate the community about early warning signs and the critical importance of early detection, while empowering women to prioritize their mammo health.
