South Texas Health System Heart

South Texas Health System Heart was one of the first freestanding cardiology and cardiovascular hospitals built in the United States. The 60-bed heart hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care for the South Texas region. The hospital is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), a certified Primary Stroke Center and a Level IV Emergency Department.
